Motorcycle Repair: wont start, hd sporster, starter solenoid

Question
2000 hd sporster 1200s.
the headlight, turn signals, and horn all work.
new voltage regulator.
bike still want start - just makes a clicking noise.
i'm thinking starter problem, but i'm no expert.
could you assist?

Check your battery to make sure all the cells have water in them. Then take a volt meter and testthe battery. You should have 12.5 volts on a fully charged battery. If not then charge it up overnight. Try to start the bike. If you have the same problem then its probably the starter relay that is bad. You dont see to many starters go bad in harleys. After changing the starter relay, and you still have the problem, then your starter solenoid on the starter is bad.
