i recently changed handle bars on my 02 sporty now i cant get it started everythng works except no power to key switch and no spark.tested coil ,ok the only thng i grounded on /off switch to frame could this be the problem.

Check your wire going from the battery to the key switch with a teat light. What do you find?

i have power to switch now but still cant get it started also found i have power to both sides of coil.

Hold the spark plug against the cylinder and turn the starter over. Are you getting a spark at the plug?

no i dont have spark to the coil

Sounds like you either have a bad ignition modual or a bad lean switch. Either way you are going to have to have it tested at the dealer. You are not going to have the proper equipment the do the testing. It was probably caused when you grounded the switch.
