Motorcycle Repair: 1999 Hrley Davidson FLSTF Startup Problem, hrley davidson, evo motor

dear Mike.
The problem has started before the maintance. Also I am using Champion RN12YC plugs, which are for FLSTF model. The choke: I am leaving it out for 5 min. is that the point or not..? Also does this problem may releated with the carburator or timing..?

Your problem is not unusual for your bike. When the motor is cold it runs rough because it need more fuel. You can start the bike and run it with the choke on for a few minutes, but since your bike has a EVO motor its a good idea the start it and let it warm up. It will help you keep from getting a base gasket leak.
