Question
hi i have bought a 95 gsxr750 ive had the carbs rebuilt by a suzuki dealer it has a jet kit and aftermarket exhaust the problem iam having is the idle likes to jump up and down and it spudders real bad wehn giving it gas especially on the take off in first gear it kinda jerks back and forth and then it takes off it runs fine going down the road as long as your above 4000 rpms sometimes you cut the bike off and let it sit a little while and then start it the problem goes awayi have went to a hotter plug what else could it be do i need a ignition advancer or ignition problems the carbs have 118 main jets and 35 pilot jets it still has factory air box thxs for your time

Answer
Hi Joey,

The carbs need tuned to correct the air-fuel mixture. Tune the carbs and get back to the original plug. The stock intake air assy. may be too restricted and richening the mix. Synchronize the carburetors after tuning.

What is the altitude and average temperature where you live? I'll do the math and advise on jetting change recomendations.
