Where do I find the Condenser on a Honda CT110. I have been told they malfunction after a considerably time due to heat.

If your bike has points... 1980-1, then the condenser is mounted on the coil, which used to be on top of the motor requiring removal of the engine assy to access it. You may be able to see it down inside through the battery box access in the frame, but doubt if you could remove it. The microfiche at

shows the coil and condenser as a unit!

If you really have a bad condenser, you can substitute most any small m/c condenser in the points circuit to get it going again. Just snip the wire to the old one, in case it is shorting out.

After 82, the ignition was CDI and has no condenser function.
