Motorcycle Repair: CL77 wont idle, ms word files, air screw

Question
Hi Mark, Just a little background. I have a 1967 Honda CL77. Valves have been adjusted, new cam chain tensioner installed, new pionts installed and adjusted, carbs cleaned and rebuilt, float levels set, timing set.Engine starts and runs fine, idle is a little irratic, sometimes hi,sometimes low.But here is my main problem. When the bike is coming to a stop, the RPM's slow and die. If I give the bike just a little throttle before it dies,it will continue to run and idle. Have adjusted both the air screw and the idle speed all to no effect. Hope you can help. Thanks for your time.  John Raumann.   jraumann@webtv.net

Answer
Hi John,

I suspect the carburetor pilot circuits are partially obstructed and need more thoroughly cleaned, and/or the carbs need synchronized.

Can you open and view MS Word files on your WEBTV email? For me tech files, email me:
