Motorcycle Repair: blueing tailpipes, air fuel mixture, kawasaki 750

79' kawasaki 750 4 banger, the exhaust pipes are turning blueish, is this due to timeing, also the exhaust is 4into 1.  is it better to go with 2 it to 1 on each side, will the performce due better. thank you very much for any help.

A: It's due to a rich air-fuel mixture; use of the choke and rich carburetion are the likely causes.

Q: also the exhaust is 4into 1. is it better to go with 2 it to 1 on each side, will the performce due better.

A: 4/1 is a better choice; better sound, better looks, better performance.
