Which door are you refering to? The clutch release cover (the outside one) or the bearing housing(inside one) sometimes called the trap door?
Mike Iam refering to the trap door with the two bearings in it.

Sorry to say, but he only way to replace that gasket is to remove the guts of the trans. You will hav eto start at removing the clutch assembly and the inner primary. There is a race that will have to be removed on the main shaft in order the remove the trans assembly. Then the clutch relese cover has to be removed. The top cover of the trans has to be removed also to remove the shifter dogs. Then the trans assembly will slide out.
