Motorcycle Repair: 1997 gsxr600 emulsion tubes, gsxr600, shively

   I need advice on how to remove these emulsion tubes as ive been informed that these are pressed in not screwed in.Please help if possible.

Les,

The best advice I can give you is to find a copy of the Service/Repair Manual and learn how to service the carburetors. The manual has procedures, illustrations, and warnings you should know about. It will pay for itself with the first home repair. Check you local library for manuals.

The emulsion tubes do not thread into the towers. They are pressed in, though removal should be rather easy.
