Motorcycle Repair: taking bike out of storage, fxrs, right direction

i have a 91 fxrs that has been in my garage since i injured my back 2 years ago. was unable to do any  prep prior to storage. saw the bike for first time this week and want to get it on the road again. what do i need to do besides changing all fluids, gas, and battery. thanks for any advice you can offer.

Your going the right direction. One thing you might have to do is remove the carb and clean it. Usually the carb gets plugged up from sitting with gas in it.
When you change the fluids, make sure you warm the bike up so you drain all the junk out that settled.
