Motorcycle Repair: yamaha 125 at2 ignition timing, timing specs, ebay

i have a 1972 yamaha 125 at2 that seems to be out of time. i wondered what procedure to use to adjust the timing. it is not running but does fire/backfire when i kick it over. thanks.

Find a shop manual and follow the troubleshooting procedures. Finding a shop manual for this MC may be difficult. Try Ebay.

I may be able to help with the procedure if you can find the timing specs.
