Motorcycle Repair: carburator float setting, honda cr 250, cr250

I have an 84 Honda CR 250 that the float saturated and sank shutting off the fuel supply, I purchased a new float set.I need to know if there is a meassurement to set the floats or if it is preset from factory? if I have to set them what is the meassurement and what are the meassurement points?

Hi Jeff,

My expertise is with roadracing, so my spec files don't include radical MC's such as the CR250.

Try finding the specs on-line or buy the service manual. The manual has specs and procedure on where and how to measure.
