Motorcycle Repair: harley/twincam, cam bearings, bobby wood

i a m doing a performance up grade onmy twincam.
i have puchased s.e. 253 cam/dyna 2000 ign.
would like a carb. recomendation. should i go with an s.s or maybe 42mm flatslide

The Mikuni is the way to go. Too bad you already got the 253 harley cams. Thay are not very good. I would sell them and install a Bobby Wood night prowler cams with gear drive and new Torrington cam bearings,The .510" lift bolt in cams will make much more torque and horse power accross the entire power band then any of the harley so called performance cams.  Johnny
