Motorcycle Repair: bike is jumping forward and backward..., kymco zing 150, shaft drive

Question
Hi there - I have a kymco zing 150 - not a very good bike, but I love it all the same.  :)  I don't know too much, and this may be a stupid question: When I accelerate or decelerate (even a millimeter or so on the throttle), my bike will jump forward or back a bit (feels like if I let the clutch out too fast).  I've tried tightening the throttle and the clutch at the handlebars, and that helps, but then it idles too fast, or the clutch feels too tight.

I live in taiwan, and haven't been able to find an english speaking mechanic (and my chinese is terrible), so your advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Answer
Hi Mark,

I am not familar with this MC or scooter.

I think you're on the right track by trying to adjust the cables as described.

Is the drive train chain and sprockets, shaft drive, belt and pulleys, or centrifugal belt drive?
