Motorcycle Repair: 03 fxdwg puking, inch lbs, fxdwg

my buddies say my puking oil problem is due to an improperly aligned oil pump. is that so, and if so, can you give me instructions on how to align the oil pump. my service manual doesnt mention alignment. thanks

remove cam cover and loosen the 4 oil pump screws and remove two of them,Now insert 2 lifter block alinement tools loosely in the holes, now remove the spark plugs and put bike in 5th gear as you turn the motor over usig the rear tire moving in the direction of the bike rolling forward, you snug the two lifter alinment tools as the motor is turning over,then torque alinment tools to 120 inch lbs, Now tighten the other two oil pump screws to 120 inch lbs and the remove the two alinment tools and reinstall the two oil pump screws and torque them to 120 inch lbs. now reinstall cam cover with new gasket.
