Motorcycle Repair: turn signal stuck, 1991 honda nighthawk, flasher relay

Hey- I have a 1991 Honda Nighthawk and the front right turn signal has been stuck ON (not blinking, just on) for days. Other signals aren't responding to switch. Do I need a new relay switch?  Whats up? Thanks

Hi Becca.
 You may need to clean the contacts in the switch as well as the very strong probability that you have any number of shorts and crossed wires in the signal system.

 Get the repair manual and go over the entire signal system, both visually and with a multimeter.  You will likely find that you have one or more shorts.  You could also have a bad flasher relay.  But you won't know that for certain till after you have repaired the shorts.
