is there any way to gut a stock muffler on a 98 suzuki bandit 600 to make it louder and give it a little more flow it has low miles (2700) and engine is in brand new shape

Hi Austin,

Yes. Gain access to the pipe's interior and remove the interior parts. May require plasma cutter or saw, and then welding back together.

I do not recommend this practice. You'll get noise and will de-tune engine's performance. Not to mention citations for equipment violations. Did I mention EPA violations and fines?

It's best to buy a quality aftermarket exhaust designed for the Bandit. You'll notice increased performance (with corrected carburetor tuning) and very good looking pipe.
