Motorcycle Repair: Adding on a headlight, hi chris, electrical system

hello, I have a TRX 90 for one of my girls and am interested in adding on a headlight to it.It does not have electric start thus there is not a battery.any advise is appreciated.Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris.
 An electrical system is designed to produce and handle only a specific amount of power.  In a case like this, I would not add any additional electrical components.  It will draw too much power away from the system and cause other problems.  There isn't anything that you can do about it unless you can find a replacement magneto that will produce enough power to handle the additional lighting.  Then you would have to upgrade the entire electrical system.  It would be cheaper to get a similar sized bike that has the lighting that you need.
