Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: car dies, schrader valve, fuel pressure

my car starts but wont run. i have to press the gas to start it but when i let off the gas it dies. maybe something with the fule pump? it is a 97 buick riveria

hi garet.well yes may be fuel pump.there is a schrader valve on the intake check the fuel pressure here.if you have low{below 40 psi} then pump problem.if 0 fuel pressure possibly fuse or electrical connection.good luck hope this helps please vote for me ty billymac
