Motorcycle Repair: turn signals, flasher units, turn indicators

1986 Honda gl1200 My turn signals stopped working one day and haven't worked since.  The flashers still work fine. The bike has only 15000 miles on it.

Hi Gale, I would inspect the basics first...check your fuses..if ok, then turn on your flashers and locate the flasher unit..there should be two flasher units..one for the turn indicators and one for the hazards..see if you can swap them..then check turn indicators. If you cant swap them then buy a new flasher and test the indicators. These ideas should get you started   thank you for asking
