Motorcycle Repair: Choke, air fuel mixture, rich mixture

Question
I have a MZ 125SX, i know that you are more of an expert on Hondas, but this is a very general question which i have been wondering about and am not really willing to try on my bike to find an answer. I an wondering what would happen, while travelling at full speed in sixth gear, what would happen if i suddenly jammed the choke on into the position you would usually start a cold enjine on.thank you, hope you will be able to reply with an answer soon.

Answer
Drew, in your scenario the engine will experience a lack of air-fuel mixture to run at full throttle and will get momentarily very rich due to the choke circuit activation which will probably foul the spark plug... then it will stop running. The rich mixture may wash a lot of the oil from the cylinder/piston contact area, leaving a momentariy lack of lubrication to those parts that are moving very fast.

Not a recommended procedure....
