Motorcycle Repair: vibration ticking sound, softail springer, good luck

I have a 1994 softail springer. I have about 20,000 miles on it. It has a bad vibration at about 60 mph. Is there anything that I can do about it?

Your vibration is either from the front tire or the steering head. Make sure the steering head bearing is adjusted correctly. If it still vibrates, then check the front tire for wear. run your hand around it and it should feel smooth. If it feels bumpy then replace it.
