Motorcycle Repair: suzuki ATV timing, suzuki atv, air breather

Question
this is my problem,
i have a 1985 suzuki LT125 4 stroke atv and the timing is off. how do i set the timing?
would the carb. blow back gas mist into the air breather if the timing was off?
im trying to finish rebuilding this little project and i'm stuck on this last detail.

Hi Brent,

If valve timing is off, carburetor regursion (coughing) through the carb may occur.

You'll need the Service Manual to get specific timing intel.
