Motorcycle Repair: rust in gas tank, radiator shop, gas tanks

I need to get the rust out of my gas tank. I can't buy a new one because it's part of the warbird kit for a Sportster and they are no longer made. I understand the cream kits chip as well. The tank was welded under water to save the paint but now the rust fills the float bowl in no time. Is there a better solution than bebes in gasoline?

I take all my gas tanks to a radiator shop that also does gas tanks. They clean the inside and put in a industrial coating that lasts a very long time. The cost here, is around $30.00 for the job. I dont like the cream coating you are talking about for the same reason. So check around and you should be able to find somebody to take care of the problem for you.
