Motorcycle Repair: rattling noise, honda ct 110, roling

Question
i have recently bought a honda ct 110 2001 model.
i lent it to someone who wasn't familiar with riding and it came back with a rattling noise.
it only rattles in gear, when accelerating.
and if i put it on its stand and accelerate it doesn't rattle.
it also won't rattle by just roling or spining the wheel.
the rattle goes faster as i accelerate.
can you help me please.
it ran perfectly before this.

Hi Mark,

It's difficult to diagnoses such problems without being present and inspecting the motorcycle.

You'll have to find the source of the rattle or have a local tech investigate for you.

Try and determine if the source is engine related or frame/suspension related.
