Motorcycle Repair: Flywheel Removal, honda trail 70, condensor

Question
This is for a 1970 Honda Trail 70 KO minibike.
I bought a flywheel remover so I could change the points and condensor on the trail 70. One part screws in by the flywheel with left hand threads. The other part screws into that with right hand threads. I have both parts of the remover screwed in as far as they will go but nothing happens. The flywheel does not budge or loosen one bit. I have also tried tapping on the remover with a hammer but still nothing happens. Am i suppose to loosen something else or what?
I would appreciate any advice or answer you may have.
Thanks,
Dennis

Answer
Hi Dennis,

If the larger part of the puller threads completely into the rotor nut, and the inner puler part threads completely into the larger part and the rotor will not come off; then you have a puller for another application.

Do not hammer or drop the rotor. It will become demagnetized requiring replacement.
