Motorcycle Repair: Billet handle bar, honda shadow spirit, dish soap

My left billet handle bar grip came off. I know it is just glued on, but what kind of glue should I use? I have a 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit Thanks, Kristy

Hi Kristy.
 Well, there's a method that has been in use by bikers for decades and here it is;

Mix up a strong mixture of dish soap and water.  Then put it in a spray bottle and spray the end of the handlebar and slip the handgrip on and let the water evaporate.  The soap will act as glue and the grip will stay where it is.
