Motorcycle Repair: electrical mystery, vf750 magna, honda vf750

Question
i own a 94 honda vf750 magna, and i am having some electrical issues.
i blew my regulator months ago, but continued to ride. my battery exploded. stranded i had no choice but to use a portable jumper box to replace my battery just to get it home.
my turn signals were operating at 3X speed and then stopped working.
the front signals are iluminated, do not blink, off when i try to operate them.
my rear signals and brake light do not work at all.
the fuses are fine, and my local mechanic refuses to offer any advice and is a greedy man, do you have any advice for me? i want to fix it myself, and cant afford my greedy mechanic.

Answer
Hi Ari,

You'll have to test all circuit wiring and components and repair or replace damaged parts. I would need to perform the same to give you an answer.

I recommend the Service Manual for learning test procedures. It will pay for itself with the first repair.
