Motorcycle Repair: Honda-Electrical, honda xl350, check battery

Question
I have a 1974 Honda XL350 Motorcycle.. It been Siting In my garage For About 20 Years
Un touch. It was in perfect condition when i stoped useing it 20 years ago.  I Deside i
Would Go Start it up the other day. So i Charged up the battery and went to start it. It has
no spark. So i Ruled out the spark plug and checked the wiring. So i Need to Know what
to do next ?.. ..
       Any helpful information would Be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brent,

Is the battery 20 years old? If so, replace that thing.

Check battery voltage and replace battery with new if voltage is less than 12.6 VDC.

The carbs will likely need thoroughly cleaned.

I recommend the service manual to show you how to do the work.
