Motorcycle Repair: 70t100c battery box install, bolt holes, manules

Question
trying to install my battery box and it just does not seem to fit...nothing has changed since i took it apart...i installed the new antivibration plugs. and when i try to install it it fits fine on one of the tapered frame posts but the other one barley catches what happened?if i try to twist the box it wont line up on the bolt holes on the other side none of my manules has a good photo but it seems like a easy install but it has me perplexed... help

You have me stumped on this one too. It's been a long time for me and I don't happen to have a T-100 lying around to check what I am talking about.

What you have to think about is what has changed. The anti-vibe plugs may be at fault. Hope you haven't thrown the old ones away. It would be good to compare the new with the old to see if there isn't a slight difference.

Also, you need to double check that they are seated all the way. Not backwards are they?

None of my books have a good pic either.
