Motorcycle Repair: Slip-ons for 94 Dyna Glide, screamin eagle, horse power

Question
I have a question. I have a '94 Dyna Glide Convertible (FXDS-Conv) with the tapered Harley slip-ons. Trying to find parts for this bike is a nightmare. Recently I have been eyeing at the Screamin' Eagle 2 baloney cut slip-ons for my bike in the catalog. However there is a slight problem. They are only made for '95 and later. My question is what is the difference between the slip-ons for the '94 than the Screamin' Eagle 2's in the catalog for '95 and later? Grant you I would have to change the muffler bracket, because I know it is different, but is there any other difference? Also, I want a deeper and louder throatier sound, but not too loud. So should I go with them or would I just be better off going with an aftermarket pipe and be done with it? If you can help me out with this, I would appreciate it.

Answer
Hi James.
Dont wast your money on any slip on mufflers Harley or after market. There are all JUNK. buy your self a White brothers E-Series 2 into 1 exhaust system and you will be the happest man on the planet. This pipes will let you tune correctly and make more horse power and torque accross the entire power band over any exhaust system on the market today. They sound great look great and are made great, They work well on dyna's. As far as will the 94 to 95 slip on pipes work . I dont care. I am in the performance biss not the slow the harleys down biss. so i can answer your question. In my shop I would not even sell or put on them slip on for any customer of mine Because it would ruin  me in the motorcycle biss   JOHNNY 602-705-7474
