Motorcycle Repair: water in the fuel, water in the fuel, seasonal storage

Hello, one of my small childen poured water in the gas tank of one of my atv's.I found out after it completely quit runnning and one of my older children told me what had happened.I have cleaned the gas, oil, carb and anything else I could think of, with no success.It will start well with starting fluid and runs great, but will not idle.Do you have any suggestions?Thanks, Chris

 If there isn't any water in the fuel system, then the only thing that it could be is the idle has been tampered with as well.


If nothing was changed but the water in the fuel and it ran fine before, then that could be the only thing, unless the bike also has spent a great deal of time in seasonal storage, in which case the carb could need proper cleaning as well.
