Motorcycle Repair: fork oil and lowering, damper rod, pvc tubing

Question
im wondering how much oil a stock92 sportser will take in the fork?
also, im installing a fork lowering kit, and the instructions dont make sense.
im wondering if there is a "damper rod" in the lower legs of the fork, and if so, how would the legs come off after the cap is removed?
theyre saying to ass springs in order to lower the fork. which doesnt make sense. adding springs keeps the fork the same height. they included pvc tubing for spacers, and im wondering what those are forr too?
like i said, i read the instructions. i have a copy. if you need ill include them in an email.
thanks.

Answer
Normally in a fork lowering kit the spring is shorter and the pvc spacers is to take up the space in the top of the fork. There is a damper rod in the lower legs of the forks, but it shouldnt have to be removed. If you would like, you can send me a copy of the instructions and I can look at them. its mike@cscycleservice.com
On your fork oil you the amount is 10.7 oz.
Good luck and happy riding
