Motorcycle Repair: carburetion, jet sizes, exaust system

Question
Exaust  System has ben changed and carburetors are so lean that it has a bad stumble, what changes need to be made?  Ijust got the bike.   83 VT750c

Hi Bill.
 You need to enrichen the mixture and possibly retune the engine to the new exhaust system.

 Start with retuning the engine unless you have a tunable exhaust system, then retune the exhaust system to the engine instead.

If both are tuned correctly, then the carbs need rejetting.  Check with your local shop or the exhaust manufacturer to find out what jet sizes you need installed.
