Motorcycle Repair: 1993 kawasaki zx-6, clutch linkage, clutch cable

how do i change the clutch cover,do i have to remove the clutch cable.i have removed all of the bolts around the cover but it will not come off.

Hi Brian,

Yes you need to remove the clutch cable. Gaskets sometimes cause parts to stick together firmly. The clutch linkage below the cover may need to be rotated a bit while pulling the cover off. Tap the cover lightly with a rubber or dead blow hammer.
