Motorcycle Repair: cam tesioner, exact adjustment, honda model

Question
I have a 1983 200e ATC.  I adjusted the valves, then the book said to adjust the cam chain tensioner. I loosened the 14mm nut, then retightened it.  The problem is that the 10 mm bolt on top, which the book said not to move, is now loose. Tightening the 14mm nut does not help at all.  Everything was suppose to be automatic, but I don't think the book gave me all the information that I needed.  Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Don,

I cannot remember the exact adjustment procedure for the 83 ATC200. I know it's simple, just cant remember. Been too long ago.

I think you remove the cap, loosen the 14mm lock-nut, tighten the 10mm bolt finger tight, and retighten the 14mm lock-nut. Reinstall the cap.

I checked on line for the procedure with negative results. Sorry!
