Sorry for the delay in responding. It's a holiday! : )

Yes, a single fire sytem.

One signal is sent to both coils from the pick-up coil. Both ignition coils fire all spark plugs together. One pair of those plugs ignites the combustion burning process. This cylinder is at the end of the compression stroke and beginning of the power stroke (combustion stroke). The other plugs arc too, but that cylinder is 180 degrees difference or on the end of the exhaust stroke and beginning the intake stroke. The spark has no effect on this cylinder.
