Motorcycle Repair: jetting, jet kit, shively

Question
I have a 92 yamaha fzr600 bored over 30 it had if i remember right factory stage 3 jet kit when i bought it last year.I took it in because and didn't start on cold before i last rode it.Last time rode it before taking it in i changed the sprk plugs because it bog ,backfired, and also smelt rich.I brought it in  told them about that in last sentence.I told them i wanted to get it back and to run perfect so i could ride all summer. it ran fine for a short time.I rode 120 miles ride with friends and at starts and sometimes going steady for awhile try to accelerate it bog out. they put new plugs in and jets and cleaned the carbs. can it be from that because i want say it jetted wrong or something with the carbs itself but they say it's not from their work. ialso forgot i have 4 k&n filters, too.

Answer
Hi Eric,

I think the carbs are jetted too rich.

I doubt their work is the cause of the problem. Thier work didn't fix the cause, either. They probably did the work they thought was necessary for proper operation, or did only what was requested.

Respectfully,
