Motorcycle Repair: 2004 sportster performance enhancements, sportster custom 1200, sportster performance

Hi Johnny:

I just picked up a 2004 sportster custom 1200. Great bike. Lots of fun. I would like to do something to increase horsepower and give it the harley rumble without being too loud to make it obnoxious. The dealer recommends the stage I kit and screaming eagle slip ons. I don't mind spending the bucks to get the performance. Will the dealer recommended stuff be my best option or do you think something else would be better?

your dealer SUCKS. install a set of white Brothers E-Series 2 into 1 exhaust system and a Bobby Wood hi flow are filter kit, if you want performance stay the hell out of the Harley shop and Screaming beagles so called performance parts.  and now have lots of FUNNNNNNNNN   JOHNNY
