Motorcycle Repair: Honda 90 - points, honda trail 90, condensor

I have a 1977 Honda Trail 90 in excellent condition. The points seem to fail each year. Can I do something to prevent this?

Hi Brad,

Keep up with maintenance and keep points properly adjusted. Replace the condensor, too. It's purpose is to keep points from burning out.

I've visited websites dedicated to these MC's. They had lot's of tech info on them, but I don't know the site addy. TRy an internet search of "Trail 90" and various combinations of the make, model, and year. Should find the sites.
