Chris can you explain to me on how to set the time.                   iam  rebuilding the motor from scratch.       it had a bent exhaust valve Thankyou very much James haines

Hi James.
 Setting the valve timing is a little tricky for me to describe.  Unfortunately, I am not much of a tech writer.  There should be a very thorough description with diagrams and pictures in the repair manual.  If you do not have one, then you should, since it has all of the specs for the bike in there as well.
