Motorcycle Repair: Carburetor, suzuki gsxr 400, gsxr 600

I have a 97'suzuki gsxr-400. The floats inside the carb has been damaged. It is not available at my place. But parts are there for gsxr 600. Can i install a 600cc carb on my 400cc?

I haven't been able to confirm the carb swap. You could try motorcycle website forum such as "www.motorcycle-usa.com" and post the question there. Someone may have tried that swap.

I would call a Suzuki dealer and ask them to compare parts on their microfiche.
