Motorcycle Repair: fork seals, seca ii, fork seals

I ride a 1992 yamaha 600 seca II. my question is if i will need any special tools and how difficult is it to replace my fork seals. I do most of my own repairs on my bike and my atv, but have never messed with the forks.

Hi Nick,

Replacing seals at home can be a task without the luxuries of the shop. You can do the work without special tools. Send me an email as requested. I'll return repair information files that may assist you.

Visit Yamaha's website to see exploded views of parts microfiche online: "www.yamaha-motor.com"  Once the webpage opens, click on "Parts & Service", then click "Parts Catalog." Click "1992" and find your Seca in left menu. Click "Forks."
