Motorcycle Repair: wheel bearings?, wheel bearings, gsxr 750

Question
i just have a quick ? about my front wheel on my gsxr 750(2000) i recently had gotten my wheel back from a dealer, they put a new tire on for me. i asked them if i needed new wheel bearings and they said no that they were good, but i needed new seals. i put the bike on a front wheel stand and put the wheel back on.the problem is is that when the tire was on i went to spin it and it spun kind of ruff and not too freely.it was put on correctly but i dont know why its doing that. The guy told methat the bearings just might not have been seated right and itll be fine to ride and they will seat themselves is this right? and if not why would my front wheel be spinning ruff when on a stand?

Answer
Hi Chris,

You can check the bearings yourself. Send me an email as requested. I'll return the iformation files.

I don't buy the "bearings not seated" line. I wouldn't let my work go with a known problem. That's unprofessional. Maybe have another shop perform service on your MC, especially if you ride above 35mph.
