Motorcycle Repair: Radiator and Thermo unit, radiator fan, stock design

Question
I have a 2000 YZF R-1.  It was modified for racing before I got it, the radiator fan was removed and the thermo unit was changed to a hard pipe.  I bought the new thermo unit and the blower, but I would like to know exactly where the hoses get connected to since the hard pipe is not the same and some hoses are blanked off.  A good diagram of the radiator assembly can be seen on www.ronies.com under the part and yamaha and 2000 and YZF R-1 and then radiator.  Can you help me out?

Answer
Hi Chris,

The hose connections are easy, but I cannot see the custom fabrication on your MC.

Have to see it to help ya.

Replicate what you see in Yamaha's microfiche screens using the stock design, or improvise using the custom work.

Be sure to purge air from cooling system as final task. Air in system causes overheating and engine damage. MityVac makes a tool to purge air: "AirEvac" tool. This is a must.
