Motorcycle Repair: battery, custom bike builder, battery 12v

Question
Hello.
I have a bike with the following specifications.
bajaj kawasaki indian version.
Electricals of the bike are :

Battery 12V 9Ah
Alternator 3 phase AC
Head lamp 60/55W(Halogen)
Tail lamp 5W
Stop lamp 21W
Turn signal lamp 21W
Fuse 30A

Since i want to add additional 2 headlights and a horn I am planning a "second" battery. It should not to connected to the first battery in any way and must produce current in the same way the original battery does i.e using a seperate alternator and coils and all the things. Is it possible to design such a system and install it on the bike ?

OR

Is it possible to install some kind of small device that will increase the voltage and provide necessary power to light my 2 new 100 w helogen bulbs and a horn ?
Hope you can help
Thank you.
May God Bless You.

Answer
Hi Samir.
What you are attempting to do is possible, but not by either of the ways that you are thinking.  Neither of the ideas that you have are really practical

The best and cheapest way to produce extra power is to upgrade the entire electrical system for 18 volts.  This will be neither cheap, nor easy.  A second generator or battery will require an alost complete redesign and heavy modification of the bike.  Not recommended except for a serious custom bike builder.

to be perfectly honest, you would be better off finding a bike that produces enough power to do most of the lighting that you are looking for and settle for that.  Anything else and you could likely be spending 2 - 3 times the cost of your bike to do this modification.

Good luck.
