Land Rover Repair: Land rover Series II Air Conditioning, land rover series, cool air

Question
1999 Land Rover, Series II.  Notice that air conditioning on driver's side works (although not ice cold, but still comfortable) and on passenger side, looks to be blowing outside air through vent, or maybe some combination of outside and cool air.  Either way, not ice cold like it use to be.  Any clue what this could be and how much?  75k miles and debating whether to invest to fix or not.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Mark,

sounds like your compressor is starting fail. It's about $1200+

You could try to have the system cleaned and tested by a local garage...won't cost as much as dealer and might give you a better diagnostic on your system.  I've seen some places charge $59 for this service.
