Motorcycle Repair: NO SPARK, test light, custom bike

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A CUSTOM BIKE, I HAVE IT STORED FOR THE WINTER AND NOW I CANT GET IT STARTED, IM NOT GETTING ANY SPARK, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? IT STARTED ONCE AND THEN AFTER I TRIED TO RESTART IT I NOTICED THE STARTER GOT HOT SO I QUIT FOR A WHILE, WHEN I TRIED AGAIN I HAD NO SUCCESS, THATS WHEN I TOOK THE PLUGS OUT AND NOTICED I NO LONGER HAD SPARK.

Answer
First thing you need is a test light. Check at the coil and see if its hot when you turn the key on. If not then you need to trace the problem back to the ignition. If it is then you probably have a electronic ignition problem.
