hello, my bike starts normally when cold runs for about 10 min then sputters and cuts right out, upon restart she will barely idle, when i give her some throttle she bogs down and stalls again, have to let it sit for a while before she will run again, i checked all the fuel lines, replaced filter, plugs, fuel pumps seems to kick out fuel, plugs look okay,, any ideas ? thanks Joe S..

Hi Joe,

Describe the appearance of the spak plugs.

How is the choke being used during this 10 minute start-up?

Need your email addresss as requested to return information files.

thanks for your reply, the spark plugs are pretty clean in fact almost too clean, as for the choke, the only way i can get her to run or idle is by leaving the choke on, but if i give some throttle she bogs out, and stalls, my e-mail is smj2001@comcast.net, thanks again, Joe S.

Answer
Joe,

The carburetors will need cleaned. The pilot circuits are obstructed. When this occurs, the enrichment circuit (choke) allows the engine to idle. The pilot and choke circuits share some passageways enabling the engine to by-pass the obstructed jets and idle.

I'm attaching several files in a seperate email for your review.
