Motorcycle Repair: need help with 03 tl1000r, oil drain plug, transmission lubricant

Question
how's it going falcon. i have a tech question i hope you can enlighten me on. i own a 2003 suzuki tl1000r. i wanted to know if my bike or sportbikes in general have transmission fluid? my bike has an oil drain plug and another plug behind it that opens with an allen. at the time i didnt know witch one was the drain plug so i took them both off. later i found out that the nut was the drain pug. but i cant find any mention in the service manual about what the allen plug is for. my clutch is starting to slip a little so i'm hoping i didnt !@#$ anything up! any help on this dilemma will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Answer
Hi Jorge.
As far as I am aware the only bike that has transmission fluid as well as oil is the Harley-Davidson and Buell.  That's it.  All the rest use the engine oil as transmission lubricant.  If your clutch is slipping, you may want to double check the adjustment and also the wear on the friction plates and springs.

Good luck.
